Maldives
The tropical nation Maldives is located in the Indian Ocean in Asia and is composed of 26 ring shaped atolls which are made up of 1190 coral islands. The Maldives is known for it's blue lagoons, reefs and beaches and will be found southwest of India and Sri Lanka.

Best time to visit: This tropical paradise is hot and sunny all year around with temperatures 23-31°C. The best weather is between November and April with peak season December to March. The Monsoon is between May and October.

The highest point in the Maldives is at 2.3 meters on the Villingili Island, and Maldives is also the lowest and flattest country on earth.
​
You can only find alcohol in resorts and hotels but is otherwise prohibited since it's an Islamic country and the visiting tourists are expected to follow and respect traditions.
​
Its also one of the few destinations in the world where you can find the world’s biggest fish, the Whale Shark all year around.
