Forrettabarinn
This restaurant is a gem located in the old part of Reykjavik with a really nice atmosphere and good service. They offer very well prepared dishes and traditional dishes with a twist. We tried some of the 4 course set menus and we weren't disappointed, would highly recommend you to treat yourself with one of them. Make sure to reserve a table since its a very popular place.

Otto Matur & Drykkur
We stumbled up on this little gem in Höfn and it became one of my favourite restaurants in Iceland. OTTO has an amazing and warm atmosphere with a small menu with simple yet elegant dishes. The lobster soup served with home baked bread is to die for and the cinnamon roll is a good desert, don't miss this place.

A dinner at Salka Valka is a uniquely and charming experience with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is fresh and prepared on the day, portions are big and tasty. Perfects place for a dinner and i highly recommend the fish of the day.
